Social Media is fragmented, polarised, and increasingly difficult for individuals to be heard; making it near-impossible to hear what people are saying.
Why don't we focus on the issues people are saying, rather than the loudest individuals?
Polling is misusing statistical theory to justify their business model. Trying to make "nationally representative" polls has led to more problems than it solves, often not being able to engage all necessary groups meaning the results are innacurate.
Why don't we report on what people are saying and acknowledge who is saying it?
"Data is the new oil", or at least that's what everyone was told. In reality the true value comes from insights, but that hasn't stopped prohibitive prices and mechanisms to stop wide access to key data sets.
Why don't we make it easier for people to make informed decisions?
