The Social Bite Harriet Gardens project is worth the £3m investment.

Harriet Gardens is a project developed in partnership by South Lanarkshire Council and the charity Social Bite to deliver 15 nest houses to support the homeless community in Rutherglen. This site offers accommodation to up to 15 people at a time, working as a community hub with shared cooking facilities and space for group activities and mental health support. The project is estimated to cost £3m altogether. Day-to-day support will be provided to residents by the Salvation Army, with the project being funded by council investments, Social Bite, and various local donors.
