Should access to medicinal cannabis through the NHS be expanded for more conditions (e.g. chronic pain)?"

Medicinal cannabis has been legal in the UK since 2018 and is currently prescribed on the NHS for a limited range of conditions, such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and chemotherapy side effects.

However, access remains restricted and many patients still rely on private treatment.

Clinical trials are ongoing to assess its effectiveness in treating chronic pain, which could pave the way for broader NHS use.

With the number of patients expected to more than double by 2030, and new manufacturing facilities like the one opening in Scotland, some argue the government should expand NHS access to meet growing demand and support patients with a wider range of conditions.

Do you think access to medicinal cannabis through the NHS should be expanded?"
