With wetter winters and increased flooding risk, how concerned are you about disruptions to roads or public transport in your area?

The UK is experiencing increasingly wetter winters, raising the risk of flooding, landslides and other weather-related disruptions to the transport network.

The Department for Transport and the Met Office have warned that climate change will lead to more frequent and intense rainfall, which could damage infrastructure and impact road, rail, and other services.

New guidance aims to help operators plan for and respond to these hazards, but with rainfall extremes projected to rise by over 40% later this century, concerns over the resilience of local transport networks are growing.

How concerned are you about the impact of wetter winters on transport in your area?
