 The G20 summit brings together the world’s 20 largest economies and other key partners to coordinate on global issues like trade, the environment, and finance.

Keir Starmer recently called the forum “really important to the UK,” despite the absence of Donald Trump at the 2025 gathering in South Africa.

The Prime Minister argues that engaging with G20 nations helps secure jobs and investment for Britain.

However, analysts have raised questions about the G20’s relevance amid member absences and fragmented leadership, suggesting the summit may be facing a pivotal moment.
