Tim Westwood, former BBC and Capital Xtra DJ, has been charged with multiple serious offences, including four counts of rape, nine counts of indecent assault, and two counts of sexual assault.
The charges span from 1983 to 2016 and involve seven women, some as young as 17. At his first court hearing, Westwood was granted bail under the condition he does not contact witnesses.
Given the nature and number of allegations, his bail decision has raised questions about how the legal system balances the rights of the accused with the seriousness of the charges.
Do you believe that it was appropriate to grant him bail?
